89-year-old conductor Zubin Mehta, Music Director emeritus of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (IPO), has canceled his November and December concerts with the orchestra due to bad health.

Mehta’s cancellations would have been his last concerts for 2025. Earlier this year, he had also withdrawn from concerts with the Berlin Philharmonic, Bavarian State Opera, and the Munich Philharmonic for health reasons.
