Placido Domingo’s Operalia singing competition announced the winners. First Prize is won by Adela Zaharia, a soprano from Romania and by Levy Sekgapane, a tenor from South Africa. Second Prize went to Kristina Mkhitaryan, soprano (Russia) and Davide Giusti, tenor (Italy). The Third price is shared by Maria Mudryak, a soprano from Kazakhstan and Leon Kim, a baritone from South Korea. The competition took place in Astana, Kazakhstan.
