80 musicians of the Warsaw Philharmonic have signed a letter of apology to Piotr Gliński, Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture, after he was booed by a notable part of the audience during a concert inaugurating the Beethoven Festival on 13 March (Pizzicato report here).  The booing was clearly a mark of disapproval for some of Gliński’s heavily contested decisions as culture minister.
