Under the auspices of the ‘Fondation de Luxembourg’, the ‘Fondation Michelle’ announced a vast cultural project in the field of classical music, by awarding scholarships to talented young musicians. This project, administered by Luxembourg’s National Cultural Fund, comprises five different types of scholarship, one for young talents, one for high school studies, one to enable the participation at international master classes and one to allow a one year long involvement of a young musician within an orchestra, the chosen ensemble being Solistes Européens Luxembourg; and, finally, a scholarship to facilitate the participation of a music student at the Music Education Academy 2014. The recipients of the scholarship will benefit from an amount between 1000 and 5000 Euros. More information here.
