Unions say that an agreement has been reached on the pay and regulations of intermittent workers of Milan’s opera house La Scala. According to the statement, that will put an end to a long story for this type of workers, who for more than 20 years have been waiting for an adjustment that would remedy inconsistencies and wage discrimination. Given the positive conclusion of the negotiations with the management, the strike proclaimed for April 4, 2024 is revoked.
