Child Trump’s budget is up to eliminate 66 federal programs in 2018, for a savings of $26.7 billion. Around 20% of these cuts are to be supported by the Education Department. Nine programs will be closed, among them the International Education. POTUS obviously thinks that his fellow Americans only need a national education. Other agencies on the chopping block: Corporation for Public Broadcasting (which will largely affect the musical life), the National Endowment for the Arts (bad news for the musical life too), and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
After reinstating unhealthy food in school canteens, Child Trump’s policy is clear: he wants nationalistic fat young people focused on the US, living in bad environmental conditions (environmental protection is down by 31%) and rallying for him and his family. The US will definitely become a banana republic.
