Timothy Redmond

British conductor Timothy Redmond has been named Music Director of the Winston-Salem Symphony (North Carolina), from the 2019/20 season on. Redmond becomes the fifth music director there since the organization began 73 years ago and will replace the orchestra’s longtime Music Director Robert Moody. Redmond is currently Music Director of the Cambridge Philharmonic and Professor of Conducting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
