The powerful Olympic Committee of France has forbidden to Julien Chauvin to use the historically more than legitimate name ‘Le Concert de la Loge Olympique’ for his newly created ensemble. The orchestra launched a successful petition, yet the apparatchiks from CNOSF asked that they wouldn’t accept any publicity made around the case (and they knew why…), otherwise they would not even consider thinking about the affair.

Now, after weeks of negotiations, it appears that the apparatchiks won’t change their mind. They claim having the unique right to use the word ‘olympic’ and do not even hesitate a moment to adopt the most stupid position and harm the image of sports.

The orchestra decided to continue their activities under the amputated name Concert de la Loge. We wish them plenty of success.
