Takashi Yasunami, Gewinner des Schubert-Wettbewerbs Dortmund 2021, startet seine Debüt-CD mit viel Elan in Ernst von Dohnanyis Toccata. Er kombiniert dann Schuberts Valses nobles, op. 77 mit einer Schubert-Bearbeitung durch Dohnanyi. Hier beeindrucken Leichtigkeit, Charme und ein stilsicheres Spiel.
In Yasunamis Interpretation der 16. Sonate von Schubert sollte man die Prägnanz der Rhythmen und auch seine Sensibilität beachten. Beeindrucken tun auch die sachliche Zurückhaltung im Moderato und der trauerverhangene Lyrismus des Andante con moto. Im Scherzo und im Rondo gelingt ihm eine feine Balance zwischen Rhythmik und Feingefühl.
Das Programm endet mit dem feinfühlig und charmant interpretierten
Coppélia-Walzer von Dohnanyi, der auf der Valse lente und der Valse de la poupée aus dem Ballett Coppélia von Léo Delibes beruht.

In Yasunami’s interpretation of Schubert’s 16th Sonata, one should note the conciseness of the rhythms and also his sensitivity. The matter-of-fact restraint in the Moderato and the mournful lyricism of the Andante con moto do impress. In the Scherzo and Rondo he achieves a fine balance between rhythm and sensitivity.
The program ends with the sensitively and charmingly interpreted
Coppélia waltz by Dohnanyi, which is based on the Valse lente and the Valse de la poupée from the ballet Coppélia by Léo Delibes.
