The Verbier Festival is embarking upon a historic expansion beyond the Swiss Alps. It will make its Asian debut in Shenzhen, China, in late January 2026. This pioneering initiative establishes a ‘Summer in Verbier, Winter in Shenzhen’ partnership, with Shenzhen becoming the festival’s first host city outside Switzerland.

The inaugural 2026 Verbier Festival in Shenzhen will run for ten days, from 30 January to 8 February 2026, presenting over 25 concerts and events. The festival will feature an exceptional roster of artists including Martha Argerich, Joshua Bell, Mischa Maisky, Janine Jansen, Mikhail Pletnev, Gautier Capuçon, Bryn Terfel, Bruce Liu, Daniel Lozakovich, Alexander Malofeev, Marc Bouchkov, Timothy Ridout, Daniel Blendulf and more.
