Korean violinist Sueye Park won First Prize at the 13th International Jean Sibelius Violin Competition in Helsinki. Second prize and €20,000 was given to Minami Yoshida, third prize to Claire Wells.
Born in South Korea in 2000, Sueye Park began studying the violin at the age of four. She studied with Ulf Wallin at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin and later at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.
