A jury composed, among others, by Teresa Berganza, Gabriele Lechner, Mary Nelson, Marek Ruszczynski and Peter Edelmann has awarded the Silver Prize of the Second Manhattan International Music Competition to Dominican-Luxembourgish coloratura soprano Stephany Ortega. The competition was open to pianists, singers and string players. The competition’s Honorary President is Ivo Pogorelich.
The Jury said: « Your performances reflect musicality, depth of interpretation, and technical expertise needed to distinguish oneself in the world of professional performance. »
