The Sinfonietta Cracovia has announced the 6th International Composition Competition Sinfonietta per Sinfonietta labelled Homage à Krzysztof Penderecki. « The 6th edition of the Competition is dedicated to the memory of Krzysztof Penderecki – the great polish Composer and the benefactor of the Orchestra; and the function of the Honorary Chairwoman of the Competition’s Jury is held by Mrs. Elzbieta Penderecka », the organizer says.
The subject of the Competition is an original piece Sinfonietta per Sinfonietta: Homage à Krzysztof Penderecki for a string orchestra and percussion. The Competition’s Jury consists of Joanna Wnuk-Nazarowa, Eugeniusz Knapik, Marcel Chyrzynski and Jurek Dybal.
