Myung-Whun Chung
Conductor Myung-Whun Chung was questioned on Thursday by the Central Prosecutor in Seoul in the affair opposing him to the Hyun-Jung Park, the former CEO of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. Yesterday, Chung was questioned by the police over alleged embezzlement. The 63-year-old conductor appeared at the Jongno Police Station in Seoul over suspicions he unlawfully used the orchestra’s assets for personal expenses. Chung eventually filed a counterclaim against Park on charges of defamation and false accusation. So, the legal wrangling goes on.
