Senate Democrats have begun to investigate Kennedy Center deals with Trump allies. Richard Grenell, the head of the House appointed by Trump, is accused of granting organizations close to Trump substantial discounts (up to 50%) on the rental of the hall, according to the New York Times.

Senator Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island has revealed that Democrats are investigating Mr. Grenell and his handling of the Kennedy Center’s budget. They are accusing him of using the venue to « dole out political favors » in an effort to enrich friends and acquaintances.
