Spanish magazine Scherzo, a member of the ICMA Jury, has been awarded the prize for the best work in music divulgation in Spain, the Carlos Tena Award which is presented by Radio Televisión Española and the Spanish Society of Authors.
The Carlos Tena Award, created in 2023 in tribute to the iconic journalist and music promoter who died that same year, aims to recognize the work of those who, from different fields, contribute to bringing music to the general public.
The jury is honoring Scherzo Magazine, which this December celebrates 40 years of promoting classical music, not only as a media outlet, but also through the work of its foundation and the promotion of the contemporary classical repertoire.
The award will be presented on December 10 in the Manuel de Falla Hall of the SGAE in Madrid.
Congratulations to our colleagues!
