Russian soprano Albina Shagimuratova will take part in the Award Ceremony of the International Classical Music Awards in Lucerne next Friday, 10 May. During the Gala Concert with the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester she will sing Bel raggio lusinghier from Gioacchino Rossini’s Semiramide. In the new recording of this opera, released by Opera Rara, Shagimuratova sings the title role. The production has received an ICMA award in the category Opera. The Russian soprano spoke about it with Nikolai Rybinsky, opera reviewer of Radio Orpheus. Pizzicato publishes the English version of the interview.
