Among the winners of this year’s Russian Creative Awards (RCA) is Valery Gergiev, artistic director and general director of the Mariinsky Theater, TASS reports. Gergiev, a close ally of the brutal warmonger Putin is ‘Man of the Year’ in Russia.
Gergiev, who is persona non grata in the West, is also considered a supporter of the ‘Cultural Front’, an association bent on waging a cultural war as well as a geographical one, with the aim of freeing Russia from « cultural enslavement by the West ».
