Spanish tenor Placido Domingo will give a concert in the Polish city of Poznan on 27 April, the day of the canonization of Pope John Paul II. In this concert the singer will perform ‘Amore Infinito’, a song in which writings by Karol Wojtyła, the future Pope, are set to music. Pope John Paul II died on 2 April 2005 after 26 years as Pontifex. His beatification took place in 2011.
