Manfred Honeck

With its musicians being on strike since September 30, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra has cancelled all concerts through November 18. The performances of a semi-staged production of Josef Haydn’s The Creation, led by music director Manfred Honeck and scheduled for early December, will be postponed and an alternative program is foreseen, should the strike be ended by then. Currently no negotiations take place.
