In response to its financial problems, Nashville Symphony Orchestra implemented pay cuts up to 21 % for the members of the orchestra’s administration. The number of staff members is down to 47. Several jobs have been outsourced. By this way the NSO is saving about $3 million compared to last year. The orchestra is currently in negotiations with its musicians union. The current contract runs out at the end of the month.
