Das European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO) verlegt seine Residenz dauerhaft nach Grafenegg, Niederösterreich. Dies wurde heute in Wien bekanntgegeben. Das Orchester wurde 1976 in London gegründet, übersiedelte nach dem Brexit nach Ferrara und soll noch in diesem Jahr nach Grafenegg wechseln, das bereits seit 2009 als Sommerresidenz fungiert. Staatsoper Wien

Der Direktor der Wiener Staatsoper, Bogdan Roscic wird keinen Nachfolger für den 2025 scheidenden Musikdirektor Philippe Jordan suchen. Das erklärte er in einem Interview mit der Zeitung Standards: « Die Staatsoper war historisch wesentlich länger ohne Musikdirektor als mit, beide Modelle können große Vor- und Nachteile haben. Ab September 2025 wird das Haus keinen Musikdirektor haben. »

Sebastian Berner (born in 1994) solo trumpet in the hr-sinfonieorchester Frankfurt, won First Prize in the 7th Maurice André International Trumpet Competition in Paris. 2nd Prize went to Lennard Czakaj from Poland. The Leonard Bearstein Symphony Orchestra, which called Founders Hall in Uptown Charlotte home for 20 years, has returned just in time for the holidays. Following a two-year break due to the pandemic, the city of Kannapolis, North Carolina, has offered the orchestra a new home at the Kannapolis Village Park as part of the Celebration of Lights.
