Ophélie Gaillard

Yesterday evening, when French cellist Ophélie Gaillard left her home in Pantin near Paris, her cello was stolen by a man who threatened her with a knife.

The cello is a Francesco Goffriller from 1737 which is lent to the cellist by the bank CIC since about fifteen years. The musician was also lost her bow by Jean Pierre Marie Persois from 1825 in the robbery.
