The Austrian composer Olga Neuwirth, 52, has received the Wolf Prize 2021 in Music, awarded by the Israeli Wolf Foundation. The prize is worth 100.000 US Dollar.

Neuwirth receives the prize for her « outstanding mastery, artistry and communication skills » and as one of the « most accomplished contemporary composers of her generation. »
