Weakened by a difficult economic situation, Digital Music Solutions, the company behind the NoMadMusic label and the NomadPlay educational application, is on borrowed time due to a lack of funding for its development, says a press release warning of the risk of a disappearance « which can still be avoided ». And to continue: « If our work bears fruit today, we are now in a race against time. We have to maintain our activity and find an investor or a buyer to continue this beautiful adventure. »
Co-founded by Clothilde Chalot and Hannelore Guittet in 2014, Digital Music Solutions has been pursuing the ambition of making classical music accessible to as many people as possible for the past 9 years, creating new bridges between artists and amateur musicians of all ages and backgrounds.
Its flagship educational project, the NomadPlay application, includes an interactive catalog of 20,000 audio scores, from duets to orchestras, for all levels.
The NoMadMusic label currently has more than a hundred references. Among its emblematic artists are the Zaïde Quartet, the Orchestre national d’Île de France, Célimène Daudet, Camille Pépin, les Métaboles and Guillaume de Chassy.
