The jury of the Iturbi Prize, the International Piano Competition Valencia, did not award a First Prize. Second Prize went to Alexey Sychev (Russia) and Third Prize was awarded to both Salome Jordania (Georgia) and Ryutaro Suzuki (Japan).
Salome Jordania won three three Special Awards and Antonii Baryshevskyi was declared best performer of Spanish music.
