For the winter season 2021/2022, a new gondola ropeway will open in Wagrain, some 80 kilometers south of Salzburg. The ropeway’s name is called Flying Mozart.With the construction of the new Flying Mozart gondola lift from Wagrain/Kirchboden to the Grießenkareck, the generation project ‘Skiing over 12 peaks and 5 valleys’ is taking on even more concrete form, the promoter says.
Replacing an older ropeway, Flying Mozart will transport 4,000 people per hour in an 11 minute-ride from Kirchboden to Grießenkareck (970 meters altitude).
