The 37-year-old Czech bass-baritone Adam Plachetka, together with the Czech Baroque Ensemble conducted by Roman Válek, presents his program Molieri with opera arias by Mozart and Salieri, who thus experience a musical fraternization.

He presents very well-known Mozart arias, while the Salieri arias are not so well known, but do not fall away at all, on the contrary.

Adam Plachetka has a wide-ranging voice, from profound bass to quite bright baritone. He can use his flexible, agile voice dramatically, without audible pressure or strain. The timbre is somewhat pithy, and the exemplary articulation leads to good text comprehensibility. This also allows him to give his best creatively, with characterful differentiations of the figures.

The Czech Baroque Ensemble accompanies the singer powerfully on a solid level.
