The second edition of the Luxembourg Classical Meeting will take place on the 22nd and 23rd of September at the Philharmonie in Luxembourg. Organised by music:LX, in cooperation with the Philharmonie Luxembourg, this showcase festival aims to present some of the best musicians from Luxembourg to the audience as well as to a floor of international representatives of concert halls, festivals, record labels and specialised press. Some new artists will be presented for the first time in the frame of the festival: the Quatuor Louvigny, Joint Venture Percussion Duo and the trumpeter Philippe Schartz. In total, eight ensembles and soloists will be highlighted.

Thanks to the previous edition (2015 – the Luxembourg Classical Meeting takes place every two years), several artists had new collaborations with international operators attending. Among them: the Riga Early Music Festival, the Konzertgesellschaft Basel, the Dublin International Piano Festival, the Pro Piano series in Hamburg, the 1001 notes Festival in Limoges and the label ET’CETERA records.
