Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

The handwritten score of two minuets, composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in  1772 when he was 16, fetched 372,500 euros, well above their initial estimated worth, at a Sotheby’s auction in Paris. The unpublished autographs came from the library of Jean-François Chaponnière and were part of the so called Stefan Zweig collection. The autograph contains a few corrections and minor modifications, including one or two that might be in the hand of Mozart’s father, Leopold.
