Allzu oft hört man Mozarts Serenaden und Divertimenti in eher langweiligen und uninspirierten Interpretationen, die dem virtuosen Unterhaltungscharakter der Werke kaum gerecht werden.

Die Solisti Aquilani jedoch spielen phantasievoll zupackend,  mit frischem Drive, und Virtuosität, auch überaus federnd. Akzente, Rubato werden spontan und spielerisch eingesetzt und lassen die Interpretationen nicht so eindimensional werden wie jene anderer Interpreten. Frischer Wind für Mozarts Musik!

All too often, Mozart’s serenades and divertimentos are performed in uninspired and boring interpretations that do little justice to their entertaining and virtuoso nature.

The Solisti Aquilani, however, play with fresh drive, virtuosity and imagination, and their performances are extremely bouncy. They use accents and rubato spontaneously and playfully, which prevents their interpretations from becoming as one-dimensional as those of other performers. This is a breath of fresh air for Mozart’s music!
