Teatro alla Scala, Milano

After the successful interlude of Macbeth, with the reopening to the public, the Teatro alla Scala has been forced to cancel the performances of the ballet La Bayadère scheduled for 30 and 31 December and 5, 7, 8, 12 and 13 January, due to new cases of Covid-19. Ballet fans in Milan are very disappointed, because, for the first time, the choreography created by Rudolf Nureyev for the Paris Opera, which the Nureyev Foundation had never granted to the company of another theater, would have been staged.
