After successful concerts with New World Symphony in Miami, Michael Tilson Thomas is scheduled to conduct three concerts with the New York Philharmonic on Nov. 4-7, before returning to San Francisco to conduct several concerts with the San Francisco Symphony.
This happens almost three months after Thomas, who served 25 years as music director of the SFS and is now the orchestra’s music director laureate, withdrew from all public appearances as he recovered from surgery for a brain tumor.
