Martha Argerich
Martha Argerich, who is suffering from a heart condition, is no longer able to ensure her next engagements and has cancelled her recitals and tours until further notice. In Lyon, she has been replaced by Sergio Tiempo.
She will not be able to perform with Antonio Pappano and the Orchestra dell’Accademia di Santa Cecilia at the Jan. 19, 20 and 21 concerts scheduled in the Sala Santa Cecilia of the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone. She will be replaced by Icelandic pianist Vikingur.
