Fawzi Haimor
Fawzi Haimor, born in Chicago in 1983 was named Music Director of the San Rafael, California, based Marin Symphony. Haimor is the fourth music director in the Marin Symphony’s 73-year history. He succeeds Alasdair Neale (2001–2023).
Haimor has appeared with major American orchestras as well as with the BBC Symphony, the BBC Philharmonic, orchestras in Qatar and New Zealand, and Germany’s Württembergische Philharmonie Reutlingen, where he was music director from 2017 to 2020.
