The Sinfonietta de Lausanne welcomes French conductor Lucie Leguay, 35, as new Music Director from the 2026/27 season.

Revealed in 2018 at the Tremplin pour Jeunes at the Philharmonie de Paris, she holds a master’s degree in conducting at the HEMU-Haute École de Musique (Lausanne). In 2023 she won the Victoires de la Musique Classique in the « Revelation conductor » category.

She will succeed to David Reiland who completes an intense collaboration with the the Orchestra after three seasons.
