28-year-old Hungarian conductor Levente Török, currently Erster Kapellmeister at the Opera in Ulm/Germany, won First prize in the 1st Lliria City of Music International Orchestra Conducting Competition in Liria, Province of Valencia, Spain.
The second prize went to the Russian conductor Luibov Nosova, while the third went to the Spanish Edmon Levon. The special award AESDO of the Spanish Association of Orchestra Conductors went to Spanish conductor Daniel Ros.
