Rei Hotoda

The Las Vegas Philharmonic announced the appointment of its next Music Director, Rei Hotoda. The announcement was made by Artistic Consultant Leonard Slatkin after a concert.

Hotoda will serve as music director for a four-year contract beginning in July 2026.

Rei Hotoda is currently the Music Director Designate for the Las Vegas Philharmonic while concurrently serving as the Music Director of the Fresno Philharmonic. Born in Tokyo, Japan, Hotoda moved to the United States at age 5 and grew up in Chicago.
