The Orchestre de Chambre de Paris has extended the contract with Lars Vogt, its Music Director, for another two years until the end of June 2025. The press release says: « Conductor and pianist of international renown, Lars Vogt has already done remarkable musical work with the orchestra since taking up his post in the summer of 2020, despite the upheavals linked to the pandemic and, above all, the courageous battle he has been waging against cancer since February 2021. Carried by his family and music, the musician shows a fierce will and unfailing courage. Moreover, his boundless enthusiasm, determination and commitment to the musicians have enabled the Orchestre de chambre de Paris to strengthen its original artistic approach and its resolutely chamber music positioning. »
