Nosrati spielt Bach
– The Iranian-German pianist Schaghajegh Nosrati is considered an outstanding Bach interpreter, and after the Art of Fugue and Partitas, she has now recorded the first book from the Well-Tempered Clavier.
– The CD ‘Liaison extraordinaire: Bach’ contains recordings by the duo Christoph Lahme, harmonium, and Oliver Drechsel, piano. Since there are not very many Bach arrangements for this instrumentation from the 19th and 20th centuries, Christoph Lahme has contributed his own transcriptions for this CD. In a sequence of well-known and lesser-known pieces, a sophisticated compendium of Bach’s music is thus created in technically flawless and at the same time musically attractive interpretations.  (Gallo CD-1668) – ♪♪♪♪

– Themes from symphonies, chamber music and other works by Ludwig van Beethoven in paraphrases by Fumio Yasuda as well as sounds of nature form the ‘sound art’ tableau of the CD The Ninth Wave, to which Ferhan & Ferzan Önder on piano, Joachim Badenhorst and Gareth Davis on clarinets and Kelvin Hawthorne and Klaus-Peter Werani on viola contribute musical sounds. Mathis Nitschke and Stefan Winter are responsible for the electronics. The producer and conductor is Aaron Zapico. The tableau is described as an Ode to Nature. Due to the either ascetically thin or harshly nervous sounds, the composition can easily be seen as nature, which has been affected by climate changes. (Winter & Winter 910268-2) – ♪♪♪♪
