Krzysztof Urbański
The Warsaw Philharmonic announced that from the 2024/2025 season Krzysztof Urbański will be Music & Artistic Director for the next four years, up to the end of the 2027/2028 season.
On the initiative of Krzysztof Urbański, the position of Principal Guest Conductor will be created at the Warsaw Philharmonic, with Christoph König assuming the role from the 2024/2025 season for three years.
Since 2022 Urbanski is Principal Guest Conductor of the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana and from the 24/25 season he will also be Chief Conductor of the Berner Symphonieorchester.
