Im Jahre 2014 hatten Cellist Friedrich Kleinhapl und der Pianist Andreas Woyke, eine, wie Pizzicato meinte, « atemberaubend facettenreiche Tango-Platte » aufgenommen. Nun kehrt Kleinhapl mit dem Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic Orchestra unter Robert Kruzik zu demselben Repertoire zurück.
Die Musik hat nicht dieselbe Spontaneität des Dialogs, den Kleinhapl und Woyke erreicht hatten, ist dafür aber in den Bearbeitungen von Alexander Wagendristel sowie Andreas Woyke und Leos Kuba durch den Orchesterklang farbiger, hin und wieder auch verspielter, aber insgesamt auch sehr stimmungsvoll und in einigen Stücken von bewegender Zärtlichkeit.
Friedrich Kleinhapl kann so seine Leidenschaft für den Tango noch einmal wunderbar ausleben.
In 2014, cellist Friedrich Kleinhapl and pianist Andreas Woyke recorded what Pizzicato called a « breathtakingly multifaceted tango program. » Now Kleinhapl returns to the same repertoire with the Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic Orchestra under Robert Kruzik.
The music does not have the same spontaneous dialog that Kleinhapl and Woyke achieved, but in the arrangements by Alexander Wagendristel, Andreas Woyke and Leos Kuba, the orchestral sound makes it more colorful, sometimes more playful, but overall very atmospheric and in some pieces of moving tenderness.
Once again, Friedrich Kleinhapl is able to live out his passion for tango in a wonderful way.
