Gast Waltzing dirigiert ein Programm des Jazz-Musikers Kyle Eastwood, das den Filmen seines Vaters Clint Eastwood gewidmet ist. Eastwood Symphonic ist eine gelungene Mischung aus Jazz und symphonischer Musik, in der 12 Filmmusiken aus Magnum Force, Gran Torino, Unvorgiven, The Good, the Bad & the Ugly, Eiger Section, Dirty Harry und anderen kunstvoll variiert und adaptiert werden.
Die Original-Musiken stammen von Ennio Morricone, Lalo Shifrin, John Williams sowie von Clint Eastwood und Kyle Eastwood. Barbeitet wurde das alles von Gast Waltzing, Andrew Mc Cormack und dem jungen luxemburgischen Musiker Jean-Jacques Mailliet, der auch sonst an dieser Produktion mitgearbeitet hat.
Kyle Eastwoods Quintett vermischt sich hervorragend mit dem opulenten Spiel des Czech National Symphony Orchestra, das von Gast Waltzing geleitet wird, zu einem spektakulären Klangerlebnis voller mitreißender Musik.
Gast Waltzing conducts a program by jazz musician Kyle Eastwood dedicated to the films of his father, Clint Eastwood. Eastwood Symphonic is a successful blend of jazz and symphonic music, artfully varying and adapting 12 film scores from Magnum Force, Gran Torino, Unvorgiven, The Good, the Bad & the Ugly, Eiger Section, Dirty Harry and others.
Original music is by Ennio Morricone, Lalo Shifrin, John Williams, as well as Clint Eastwood and Kyle Eastwood. All of this was arranged by Gast Waltzing, Andrew Mc Cormack and the young Luxembourg musician Jean-Jacques Mailliet, who also worked on this production in other ways.
Kyle Eastwood’s quintet blends superbly with the opulent playing of the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Gast Waltzing, to create a spectacular sound experience full of stirring music.
