Two major German agencies, KD Schmid and Konzertdirektion Goette, both based in Hamburg, have decided to work closely together. The news release says: « It has been several years now of successful partnership, synergies and shared ideas between KD Schmid and Konzertdirektion Goette in Hamburg. The far-reaching effects of the Corona-crisis have made one thing clear to us: we are stronger together. This insight has led to our decision to further intensify our collaboration under the umbrella of Deutsche Klassik with the aim of optimising our core expertise in the areas of promotion, tour management and artist management in today’s rapidly evolving market. »
Burkhard Glashoff, Managing Director of Konzertdirektion Goette, is also appointed Managing Director of KD Schmid, alongside Managing Directors Cornelia Schmid and Karen McDonald.
