Jane Glover
Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra announced the appointment of British conductor Jane Glover, 74, as the orchestra’s next Principal Guest Conductor starting August 1, 2025. She succeeds Kevin John Edusei, who was appointed in the 2022-23 Season following Robert Spano, the former Principal Guest Conductor who became Music Director on August 1, 2022.
Jane Glover is a conductor and musicologist who is particularly interested in Baroque music (especially Baroque opera) and Mozart.
From 1979 she was engaged at the Glyndebourne Festival, where she was musical director of the Touring Opera from 1981 to 1985. From 1984 to 1991, she was artistic director of the London Mozart Players. Since 2002, she has conducted the Musique of the Baroque ensemble in Chicago.
