Die 1985 geborene italienisch-niederländische Pianistin Saskia Giorgini hat ein Liszt- Programm zusammengestellt, das nicht auf große Virtuosität setzt und viel introspektive Musik enthält. Diese scheint Giorgini besonders zu liegen, weil sie eine Sensibilität und Poesie einbringt, die in dieser Qualität nicht viel Konkurrenz hat.
Giorginis poesievolles und oft meditatives Spiel, ihre Farbmischungen, ihr wunderbares Nuancieren, als das macht aus diesen Interpretationen etwas ganz Besonderes und sehr Schönes, zumal weil jedes Gefühl echt und tief empfunden und nicht sentimental aufgesetzt wirkt. Das gilt auch für die Consolations, die ihre Wirkung nicht aus Gefühlsüberschwang, sondern aus Raffinement und Poesie beziehen. So introspektiv hört man Liszt nicht alle Tage!
Italian-Dutch pianist Saskia Giorgini, born in 1985, has put together a Liszt program that does not rely on great virtuosity and contains a lot of introspective music. This seems to particularly suit Giorgini, as she brings a sensitivity and poetry that doesn’t have much competition in this quality.
Giorgini’s poetic and often meditative playing, her blending of colors, her wonderful nuancing, as that makes these interpretations something very special and very beautiful, especially since every feeling seems genuine and deeply felt and not sentimentally put on. This also applies to the Consolations, which derive their effect not from emotional exuberance, but from refinement and poetry. One does not hear Liszt this introspective every day!
