French city Le Havre (Normandy) has launched a vast project boosting musical experiences. Baptized ‘Vibrate in Le Havre’, the plan will support practice of music, creation and listening. According to the mayor of the city, Édouard Philippe, Le Havre has a very good musical infrastructure, yet the population does not use it sufficiently.

So the city will organize neighbourhood concerts and send a Music Bus to the different parts of the city in order to promote music. Awareness and education initiatives will be proposed at schools, and pupils will be invited to discover the local Arthur Honegger Conservatory.

The city will organize educational concerts, masterclasses, ameliorate the relations between the Conservatory and the local schools, and all this will be promoted by a dedicated website.
