The hornist Rob van de Laar has been awarded the Dutch Music Price. The award will be presented during the New Year’s Concert in Maastricht. Rob van de Laar (*1987) studied at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and just has released his first CD with Challenge Classics, featuring romantic works by Pilss, Schubert, Brahms and Schumann. He is currently the Principal Horn of the Mozarteum Salzburg.
