Hannu Lintu

The Board of the Finnish National Opera decided on Wednesday, 8 May, after consulting the staff group to appoint conductor Hannu Lintu as Chief Conductor.
Lintu, 51, begins its four-and-a-half-year term in January 2022, and ends in June 2026. At present, the National Opera has no principal conductor. Hannu Lintu has worked as Chief Conductor of the Radio Symphony Orchestra since 2013 and will finish his term in spring 2021.
