The Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra has investigated an incident in which the presenter of an educational concert for pupils with special educational needs expelled a group from the hall. Other schools left the room in solidarity and the concert ended prematurely.

Orchestra manager Manolo Benítez explained that he was in contact with all the centers that had attended the last educational concert and apologized to them. The orchestra is committed to inclusion, he said.
